ABOUT MIKE’S CLEAN FREAKS
Mike’s Clean Freaks is a subscription-based professional cleaning company for homes and offices—with zero lock-in contracts and maximum sparkle. That means you can cancel anytime (though once you see how clean we get things, you probably won’t want to).
We do require a credit card on file before we clean—so our residential clients can kick back and relax, knowing the only thing they’ll need to worry about is what show to binge watch on Netflix.
We’re not your bargain-bin cleaners. We’re a premium service for people who care more about cleanliness than cutting corners. If you want cheap and cheerful, we’re probably not your crew. But if you want pristine floors and gleaming bathrooms without lifting a finger? Welcome aboard.
Based in Byford, we roam all over the southern suburbs of Perth, WA. From Fremantle to Roleystone (coast to hills), and from South Perth and Applecross down to Mundijong and Baldivis—we’ve got it covered. (Sorry, Mandurah friends. We’re not quite there yet.)
In the beginning, we took on all kinds of residential cleaning gigs—big, small, one-off, you name it. But we quickly learned that one-time jobs are about as fun as trying to vacuum glitter out of a shag rug—pointless, exhausting, and somehow it keeps coming back.. One time jobs are unpredictable, inefficient, and don’t help our staff plan their lives—or stay sane.
So we pivoted. Now we focus on recurring clients who love us (and whom we love right back). This model keeps our team happy, our schedule steady, and our service top-notch.
Speaking of our team—good cleaners are rare gems, and we treat ours like treasure. Mike’s on a mission to make this a workplace people actually like showing up to. That means public praise for jobs well done (no matter how small), and private chats for anything less-than-stellar. Respect goes a long way.!
It’s working. Our team sticks around, learns the ropes properly, and takes pride in their work. They don’t need micromanaging—they’re self-motivated, accountable, and genuinely care about doing a great job for their clients.

Meet the Team!
Mike H
Mike is a fully qualified butcher who spent 13 years knee-deep in steaks, sausage meat, and unsolicited “Is this fresh?” questions. His longest tours of meat duty were at Hadley’s Butcher in Willetton and Olsen Butchers in Roleystone — five years at each, which is basically a lifetime in sausage years.
At Olsen Butchers, he worked with the legendary trio, Gavin and Collin Olsen, and Mark Bailey, in what he still calls “one of the best butcher shops in Perth” — a claim he will argue with anyone, anywhere, probably while holding a meat cleaver.
Then one day, everything changed. Mike read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and had what can only be described as a full-blown business epiphany. Suddenly, spreadsheets became more exciting than steaks. Instead of carving lamb shoulders, he was carving out business plans and cash-flow forecasts late into the night — the kind of stuff that really gets the adrenaline pumping..
Despite plotting to open his own butcher shop, he wisely decided not to gamble his house on questionable shopfronts with more risk than reward. So, naturally, he “accidentally” discovered cleaning — like a reverse Cinderella story, but with more bleach.
Now, Mike is the proud founder of Mike’s Clean Freaks, where the only thing he butchers are cleaning jobs (and maybe the occasional motivational quote). Butchering is just a fond, meaty memory — replaced by mops, vacuums, and a tonne of morning fresh.
Kim A
Kim is Mike’s Administrative Assistant, aka the behind-the-scenes superhero who keeps the office running smoother than a freshly mopped floor.
Originally from the Philippines, Kim has been scrubbing away at administrative tasks for Australian-based companies for three years. From organizing the chaos of emails to scheduling appointments (and making sure no one double-books during cleaning time), she’s the one who makes it all look easy.
For Kim, each day is a new opportunity to wipe away the clutter, polish up the team’s productivity, and add a little sparkle to everyone’s workday. Whether it’s managing data, or finding the perfect balance between a cluttered inbox and a spotless schedule, she’s got it covered. She’s basically the Marie Kondo of the office.
When she’s not at work, Kim is out running (probably avoiding puddles) and reading books about finances and personal development—because even superheroes need to level up their game.
Marjorie A
Meet Marjorie, our superhero bookkeeper who’s been keeping our finances in check since May 2024.
When she’s not working her number-crunching magic, Marjorie is off on adventures to Cambodia to visit her son, who runs a cafe there called Krouser Cafe. (Spoiler alert: It means “Family Cafe,” but we think it might also be a secret plot to get her a lifetime supply of delicious Cambodian coffee.) The best part? Bookkeeping is a job that’s basically made for globetrotters like her. Whether she’s in a cafe in Phnom Penh or lounging on a beach somewhere, Marjorie’s got us covered.
Oh, and she’s got three daughters in Perth and three adorable grandkids keeping her on her toes! If you need a little extra love from a supermom with a knack for numbers, you’ve found the right person..
Jhona B
Jhona is the creative engine behind Mike’s Clean Freaks, where she magically transforms marketing strategies and design ideas into visuals and stories that are not just crystal clear and engaging, but also manage to sneak in a little fun.
Her journey into design is nearly a decade long, a path she began by skewering current events as an editorial cartoonist in her school days—a history that likely explains her ability to deliver a message with punch. She refined her skills as a layout artist through university. When she’s not making things shine for Mike’s Clean Freak, Jhona is a whirlwind of hobbies: sketching, cooking, sewing, learning carpentry (the wood will survive, probably), and enthusiastically diving into the automotive world (strictly for knowledge; no grease monkeys here).
At home, she’s a proud mom to a one-year-old chief executive of cheekiness and playtime, who ensures her life is perpetually inspired and, more importantly, perpetually hilarious. Because napping is for amateurs, she’s also relentlessly pursuing her Master of Technical Education—proving that for Jhona, the only constant is growth.
Gabby P
Gabby came with plenty of previous cleaning experience, so training was a breeze, plus she adapted to our different ways of doing things very quickly and easily.
She’s also quite intelligent as she put a lot of planning into where she wants to live. She lives directly across the road from a Golf Course.
Although you may feel it’s a bit of a waste that she doesn’t even play, she somehow managed to earn my respect regardless.
Gabby’s a music loving, artsy Mum with 2 daughters, a husband, 2 dogs and a cat.
Hayley G
Meet Hayley – our resident cleaning guru and unofficial “cleaning whisperer.” Hayley is more than just a key part of our team; she’s like the cleaning company’s Swiss Army knife. Need to learn how to mop like a pro? Hayley’s got you covered. Need to understand how to get a shower screen back to new every while avoiding the Bermuda Triangle of 50 half used shampoo bottles? She’ll break it down for you in 3 simple steps.
Before deciding to return to us (and let’s be honest, who could resist coming back to this cleaning dream team?), Hayley spent 3 years working her magic here. She then left, presumably to share her talents with the world, but we’re thrilled she’s back where she belongs. She’s got a natural gift for teaching—after all, she’s mentioned wanting to be a teacher’s aide. And trust us, when it comes to cleaning, her lessons stick better than any stain!
We’re so glad to have her back on the team. Now, get ready to learn how to clean from the best!

Robyn smashed through our training like she had been doing it her whole life. Anyone would think she was born for this job!
The ever so reliable and consistent Robyn, always puts in 100% day in day out. She fits all of our core values and never complains. She just gets in and gets it done.
Dominique S
Born in Germany, Dominique and her family moved to Chicago, USA as a teenager, then moved to Perth.
She’s married a man who loves golf, so she’s proven to be an intelligent lady and knows how to pick them
Dominique has breezed through training as I expected she would, and has clients of her own. It definitely didn’t take her long!
She loves horses and all things animals and a wise man once told me, you can’t trust a person who doesn’t like animals.
Ella H
We couldn’t be happier to introduce (or re-introduce!) you to Ella, who joined us after making the significant move from the beautiful mountain kingdom of Bhutan just over 12 months ago with her husband and young children. Ella is the definition of gentle and polite; she approaches every interaction with such grace that you almost feel obligated to offer her a cup of tea. While her English is still diligently being upgraded—a work in progress that she tackles with the same focus she brings to a forgotten corner—she more than makes up for any language barrier with her extraordinary cleaning skills and work ethic.
Ella perfectly embodies that world-renowned Asian work ethic, approaching every task with focused intensity. She doesn’t just clean; she conquers. We’re pretty sure the concept of “good enough” doesn’t exist in her vocabulary, only “absolutely pristine.” Ella’s commitment to her job is a testament to her character, making her an invaluable member of our team. If you see her, offer a friendly smile—and maybe don’t point out any crumbs you might have dropped; she’ll probably already be three steps ahead of you with a tiny brush and dustpan!
Brady M
Meet Brady – a cleaning ninja in disguise. He doesn’t just clean, he transforms spaces. If you ever wonder if you’re in good hands, just take a peek at his house. It’s like walking into an Instagram cleaning ad – everything is meticulously organised, sparkling clean, and somehow, even the dust looks scared to show up. Brady’s house is also home to dozens of happy little plants, each thriving like they’ve been pampered at a spa.
Now, I’ll admit, I’d never hired a guy for this job before. It’s usually all ladies applying, and I was a bit skeptical. I mean, come on – guys and cleaning? But Brady blew all my doubts away. He wasn’t just the best guy for the job, he has shown over time to be one of the best employees we’ve EVER had! He is a better cleaner than almost any female on the planet. And I’d be willing to challenge anyone on that!
Brady might be the strong silent type, but don’t let that fool you. While he’s not busy chatting away, he’s laser-focused on the task at hand. He gets in, gets to work, and gets it DONE, all while leaving behind a trail of cleanliness and a slight aroma of Franjipani (our air freshener, surprisingly not from his plants!)
Jessika K
Meet Jessika, our resident powerhouse cleaner who somehow manages to keep everything spotless both at work and at home! A proud native of sunny Perth, Jessika is 26 years young and brings a vibrant, focused energy to every job she tackles. She is living proof that if you can successfully manage the chaos of two young children, you can conquer any mess the professional world throws at you. In fact, we suspect the intense training she gets managing a four-year-old and an eight-year-old is what gives her the superhuman ability to spot that one elusive crumb from across the room. She doesn’t just clean; she deploys the precision of a parent who knows exactly where the sticky fingerprints hide.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jessika is a dedicated and proud mum to two amazing children, aged 4 and 8. Her family life is active, vibrant, and bursting with love—and probably a lot of laundry. Her personal life keeps her fit, fast, and highly skilled in negotiation (usually about bedtime or screen time). When she’s not making our spaces shine, she’s ensuring her own household runs smoothly, which is arguably a tougher job! We’re lucky to have Jessika’s unmatched dedication and family-fueled drive on our team.
Teagan S
Hailing from the Perth Hills, Teagan is a true Western Australian, having lived everywhere from Como to Busselton.
When she’s not hitting the gym or traveling, you might find her on the volleyball court (where she admits she’s still learning!). Her current focus is her studies where she’s just one year away from earning her degree in Animal Health and Science. Her ultimate goal? To pursue Veterinary Medicine.
Her down-to-earth attitude and great sense of humour make her a favourite with both clients and coworkers.
Kirsha H
Kirsha built a house in Byford with her husband and 2 little daughters, and she has spent most of her working life working hospitality in cafe’s fulfilling all the roles imaginable that’s required in a cafe / restaurant. That includes being a qualified barista.
She has a lot of respect for hospitality workers, especially to those who have been in the industry for a long time. Hospitality is fast paced, with lots of multi tasking required. This drills into people an impressive work ethic, and a lot of people couldn’t handle the work, the stress or the hours.
Kirsha loves the gym (another reason we knew she’d handle this job well), and spending time with her family.
Elisabeth H
Elisabeth is a Perth local through and through. When she isn’t deep-diving into the complexities of Health Science, she’s busy channeling that academic discipline into her fitness—whether she’s hitting the pavement for a run or tackling a CrossFit WOD that would make most people want to take a permanent nap.
For Elisabeth, life is all about balance. She finds her zen in the high-energy chaos of a workout, but she’s equally at home in the low-key vibes of a random hangout with friends. She’s a firm believer that a good laugh and a great conversation are the ultimate cures for a long week (though a solid endorphin rush comes in a close second).
While she hasn’t added “parenting tiny humans” to her current curriculum (no kids for her just yet!), her plate is plenty full with her studies and her drive to stay active. Elisabeth is a natural people-person who thrives on genuine connections and new experiences—whether that’s mastering a new health concept or simply figuring out how to squeeze one more social catch-up into her busy schedule.
Nickie B
As you can tell, most of our staff come from referrals and recommendations.
Nickie’s life experience has shown early on, she cleans to a very high standard, and works extremely hard, which is a testament to her generation.
Brooke C
Brooke is studying Sports Science and Exercise and plays for several teams, including the West Coast Eagles and Perth Heat, and manages to still work for us 3 days per week despite her workload!
Outside of sports, Brooke enjoys sunrise swims, coffee, and runs with friends. Known for her positive attitude and sense of humour (we have an inside joke that she’s “affiliated” with UFC legend Brock Lesnar, and she’s still undefeated), she brings a friendly, team-oriented approach to everything she does.
Layla W
Layla hails from the sunny shores of Perth, Western Australia. When she isn’t contemplating the existential crisis of having lived in one spot for so long, Layla is passionately wielding her makeup brushes as an SFX makeup enthusiast. She thrives on being creative, transforming concepts into something bold, dramatic, or delightfully creepy—which is a much more productive hobby than just staring at the wall.
If you can’t find her creating wounds and ghastly creatures, look online! Layla spends her downtime gaming and streaming, embracing her role as a digital social butterfly. She genuinely enjoys connecting with people through the digital ether, sharing laughs, and spreading good vibes (presumably while expertly navigating a stressful boss battle).
While she hasn’t added any tiny humans to her busy schedule (no kids here!), she has plenty of interests that keep her inspired. She’s a relentless learner, always keen on meeting new people, and constantly seeking out new challenges—whether it involves leveling up her creative skills or simply trying to figure out which streaming snack is the healthiest.
Lee V
Lee is a Certified Remedial Massage Therapist with ten years of experience, maintaining a part-time practice while also furthering their education by currently studying for a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy.
She brings a dedicated work ethic, demonstrated by three years of earlier cleaning experience—a time fondly recalled as being full of life and a “questionable but never dull” music playlist while her young daughter was in tow.
Originally from Lynwood, Lee has been a resident of Kwinana since 2006. On the personal side, she has been happily married for 19 years and are a devoted mum to two teenagers.
When not working or studying, she is a self-proclaimed lover of summer, the beach, and dogs. Lee also enjoys reading at every possible chance, gardening, and, of course, chocolate.
Kelly W
Kelly previously worked here for about 8 months doing house cleaning during the day but became pregnant shortly after starting. She worked right up until about 8 months pregnant before having to stop.
Kelly was a big loss because she was a great worker. Mike was delighted when she wanted to return working here, but this time only working nights for a few hours a few days per week.
Kelly now has 2 kids, a boy and a girl, and loves being able to be a stay at home mum during the day.
Chloe V
Chloe splits her time between her South African roots and her life in Australia. When she isn’t sprinting across the netball court, she’s likely hunkered down at home with her pets, deep in a gaming session—a lifestyle that perfectly balances high-cardio teamwork with the quiet thrill of a digital quest.
At 21, Chloe is currently navigating the rigors of a Bachelor of Nursing, proving she’s just as dedicated to mastering the healthcare world as she is to her hobbies. While she hasn’t added any tiny humans to her household (no kids to report!), her pets and her studies keep her schedule plenty full. Whether she’s providing support on the court or hitting the books for her degree, she’s all about staying active and embracing the next challenge.
Annalisa R
Annalisa brings a touch of Italian flair to the sunny shores of Perth, having officially traded the Mediterranean for Western Australia in late 2025. This isn’t her first rodeo in the Land Down Under, though; she previously spent five years exploring the Aussie lifestyle and fell so deeply in love with it that she staged a permanent comeback.
Now settled in Perth, she’s fully embracing the city’s family-oriented vibes, which is a major win for someone navigating the beautiful chaos of raising two little humans aged six and three.
With a background in fashion and the seasoned skills of a barista, Annalisa knows how to appreciate both a well-tailored silhouette and a perfectly pulled espresso. Whether she’s drawing inspiration from her design studies or applying the multitasking magic required of a pro coffee maker, she approaches her new chapter with genuine enthusiasm. She’s officially back in her happy place and is eagerly looking forward to seeing what exciting adventures—and perhaps the occasional caffeine-fueled milestone—Perth has in store for her and her family.

Born in Western Australia, Paige’s roots on a family farm sparked a lifelong love for nature and animals. When she isn’t busy working, she is likely catching up on a compelling crime drama, getting lost in a good book, or spending quality time with friends.
A creative at heart, Paige also enjoys drawing and video games. While she is currently focused on her professional pursuits, she looks forward to further exploring her passion for creative writing through future studies.
